I needed him. I had frost damage that we noticed. We had a leak in a seacock, below the waterline of course. But thanks to the help of my fellow sailors, we were able to remove the defective seacock and use the STA-PLUG to seal the hole absolutely tight. The new valve was installed and the problem solved. 2 hours drive to the next crane saved as well as the craning out to get the repairs done to take country. With the costs saved, both parts - minis and the large STA-PLUG could easily be paid for. Belongs on every boat. with sailors greeting wolfgang

The modern alternative to wooden leak-proof plugs
Soft, conical plug designed to fit the most diverse shapes and sizes of holes.
Whether it's a round hole or an elongated crack, the STA-PLUG adapts to fill the leak. Unlike conventional wooden plugs, the STA-PLUG can be manually pressed into the point of leakage, thanks to its material and shape. The STA-PLUG can also be cut down to the required size. Two are included in the delivery.

How should one evaluate an emergency product?
Well, let's hope that we never have to use the plug.
The plug is soft, appears robust, and is easy to shape. If it reduces the uncontrolled inflow of water to such an extent that the water that still penetrates can be pumped outboard by the bilge pump, then the overall situation will at least be calmer.
If I ever use the plug, I can give a full review.
