Temperature dosing works Boiling potatoes on a "low flame" works, not like with other induction plates where the temperature boost is always the same and only has interruptions, so the water always bubbles over. This plate really develops less heat in the low temperature range.

The normal fan noise could probably be significantly reduced if the hot plate is properly installed. I tested it by placing it on the countertop and turning it on before cutting a hole in the wood.

The hot plate heats the contents of the pot very quickly at medium power, better than my permanently installed ceramic cooktop in my home kitchen! (16A)
