Plastic fantastic! How do I avoid the 100 types of corrosion of stainless steel and brass (grain boundary corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, chloride-induced pitting corrosion, zinc depletion, chromium deficiency, tarnishing corrosion, lack of passivation, etc., etc.)? With high-quality plastic. All of my through-hull fittings are now Trudesign fittings. Never replace them again.
