VETUS BOW PRO Boosted 900N Brushless Bow / Stern Thruster / 24 V

Combining their well-known bow thrusters together with Vetus' revolutionary RIMDRIVE has resulted in the new BOW PRO bow thruster series. The outcome is a quiet, fully proportioned bow thruster in different sizes, with virtually unlimited running time. The only thing holding them back is the size of your battery bank.

A real revolution! BOW PRO bow thrusters feature innovative, brushless induction motors, they require no maintenance and are extremely quiet. The Vetus MCV controller controls the induction motor, and can be operated with either 12 V or 24 V charging voltage. This feature makes the bow thruster suitable for almost any boat.

Bow Pro Boosted
All the features of the amazing BOW PRO with a bonus! A third connection on the motor feeds current to an internal charger that boosts the voltage from 12 to 24 volts. This extra connection enables you to charge your 24V battery bank from a12 V charging source, such as the alternator. Connecting the BOW PRO Boosted directly to a 24-volt power supply is of course also possible. The built-in charger recharges your battery bank when the thruster is not in use, doubling the value of having the BOW PRO Boosted thruster on your boat.

An evolutionary aspect of the BOW PRO series is that the bow thrusters are controlled by their own CANBUS protocol. The fully proportional base model (BPPPA) and the fully proportional control panel with thruster hold and lock function (BPPJA) are optionally available for the BOW PRO bow thrusters. BOW PRO thrusters use the same underwater parts and propellers as the popular VETUS bow thrusters.
