Sealing problems with sealing rings!!!!
After having this filter installed on my ship for almost 30 years, a leak suddenly appeared on the cover after cleaning the filter! Even after changing the rubber ring (original parts from SVB), the filter was no longer tight (on the cover). Order a new one from SVB! Installation, same problem leaking on the lid! After consulting with SVB, I was sent a new part that I now have to install and send the defective part back! Unfortunately, this is only possible with a bit of a delay because the ship is in VerudaCroatia and I can't go there quickly! The travel costs alone without fuel cost 65€ for one way back, which is more than the filter!!!!!!! So much for the experience report about a leaky filter!!!!!!!
