Installed in a traditional sailboat (plan Cornu) of 10 m on the partition between the square and the bathroom. Tank of 10 l under a berth, fireplace on the roof of the roof with double stainless steel pipe about 50 cm long. The unit is extremely easy to use (no adjustment) and works perfectly, fast and efficient heating in the square, bathroom and cabin front, blower not too noisy.

I had bought the Wallas 1300 a year and a half ago and installed in my Oceanis 323, berth on the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, the function is absolutely unsatisfactory. Even after shorter periods, the device has considerable start-up difficulties, with mostly strong smoke at the beginning, and only after several on-off cycles it runs, or mostly not. Only after rinsing with isopropanol (as recommended in the operating instructions) does the heating start. The wick had to be replaced twice, the kit costs 50 euros every time. I use the best fuel available here in France, but I had the question as to whether it could be because of it. However, requests for my part concerning the fuel selection at SVB as well as directly to Wallas without success. If the device ran times, the heat was ok, however the blower is quite loud, to sleep in the immediate vicinity definitively too loud. For a price of about 1000 euros (with all parts) I expect 100% reliable operation, without constant elaborate cleaning and maintenance work. This is not given here. The device is saddened again, I should have bought something '' right '' from Webasto or Eberspächer.

The heating stopped working only 6 months after purchase. After an expert's examination, it is the burning filament which is not covered by the guarantee. The repair costs 190 € ...
