Notes on programming:

AIS MOB transmitters are pre-programmed with an MMSI, which is made up of the serial number, and do not need to be programmed by us before dispatch.

If the AIS MOB transmitter also has a DSC function, you can enter the MMSI number into the device yourself.
Rescue is near! The easyRescue Pro3 emergency beacon significantly increases your chances of survival in an emergency. Every ship with AIS on board can see the "live" position of the victim on the PC or plotter and start an immediate rescue operation. In addition to the AIS alarm, a DSC distress call and a 121.5 MHz homing signal are transmitted in tandem. The alarm is triggered automatically.

Three Systems - One common goal: fast and effective rescue
After it has been initialised, the easyRESCUE Pro3 sends an AIS emergency message which can be received by all AIS devices (Class A and Class B). In addition, the device is equipped with an integrated, precise and fast, state-of-the-art GPS.
This means that every ship (commercial shipping, official vehicles, SAR, etc.) with AIS on board can start an immediate rescue operation - which increases your chances of survival enormously!
The DSC distress call is first performed in a "closed loop" of up to 8 ships, whose MMSI numbers have been programmed in advance with the free Weatherdock app via Bluetooth. If no confirmation is received within 10 minutes, a change to "open loop" takes place automatically and "all ships call" is sent as an official emergency call to the GMDSS rescue network.
In addition to AIS and DSC, a 121.5 MHz signal is transmitted. This "homing signal" can be received and located by official rescue services. The alarm is triggered automatically.

No way to attach it to the body, very dangerous
Overall, a well-designed product, but with one major drawback:

There is no attachment point for a safety lanyard to secure it to a life jacket. All surfaces of the casing are covered with something. The small strap with the carabiner is a trigger, not an attachment point.

In an emergency, you have to unwind the antenna wrapped around the device while in the water and hold it as high above the surface as possible. You have to keep a constant grip on the device and must not drop it, as it is not attached to your body.

If the user loses consciousness, the rescuer will find the floating device, but not the person who dropped it.

This also applies to the subsequent models, which have the same nonsensical casing.

Sehr geehrter Herr S.
