This manual bilge pump can be mounted easily and quickly. Its compact design and low weight make it very suitable for small boats where space saving is critical. The reliable membrane construction provides good pumping action. Easy maintainance. Available with either a 25 or 38 mm hose connection.

Useless design
The Whale pump installed by Hanse Werft failed in an emergency after 10 pumping movements.
The reason for this is
- The rubber is held by a ring with a bayonet lock and additionally secured with 2 screws.
- One screw is longer and goes from the ring into the housing.
- The second screw is shorter and goes into the housing directly next to the rubber.
- This screw does not hold well enough when activated, so the rubber is pulled out and further damaged by the screw. The pump is unusable!!!
I replaced the screw on the newly purchased pump with a thinner, continuous M1 screw with nut. The rubber is no longer damaged and the ring is securely fixed.

I think Whale should know about the problem so that they can make the necessary adjustments to the product.
Until this happens, the sale and use of this pump should be strictly discouraged.
