Product details
Easy to use and highly versatile, EASY EPOXY is a kneadable, solvent-free epoxy two-component putty stick, 57 g in weight and 22 mm in diameter. The product dries white. EASY EPOXY is suitable for use as an adhesive and filler or sealant. Suitable for underwater repairs in fresh and salt water, the repair compound seals all leaks and cracks in no time. It can also be used on a wide variety of substrates, such as metal, wood, glass, polyester and many other plastics. Used correctly, the surface can be further processed after approx. one hour.
Application:
For the best results, the surface must first be roughened (especially on smooth plastics), as well as thoroughly cleaned (free of oil, grease and dust). Then, you need to remove the required amount from the stick and take off the protective film. Then mix the repair compound: simply knead it in your hand until a uniform colour is achieved (takes approx. 2 minutes).
NOTE! Gloves must be worn when using this product.
Use:
After kneading, apply the repair compound immediately to the respective area. Press the product firmly onto the area to be repaired. Shape as required within approx. 5-10 minutes. When applying to wet or damp surfaces, pressure should be held for a few minutes during application.
Underwater, the use of a polythene sheet is recommended when applying pressure to prevent the compound from sticking to your fingers.
Spread the material with damp fingers or a damp cloth before it starts to harden for a smoother finish. Excess compound should be removed before it has cured. Application on polyethylene or polypropylene is not recommended.
