Worked great for me I wanted to repair a few small cracks on my recently purchased used boat until the "real" repair in a few months. I tried a few products and only this one really worked. Just shake it, apply it (in several layers at different times if necessary) and you're good to go.

Product details

Gelcoat Crack Repair from Yachtcare is ideal for sealing fine hairline cracks, tiny chips or holes above the waterline.

Use
Before starting the repair, clean the area to be treated thoroughly so that it is free of dirt, dust and grease. Shake the bottle vigorously for about 2 minutes to ensure that the paint is evenly mixed. Now open the cap and wipe the brush on the head of the bottle until the right amount of paint is on the brush tip. Apply the paint carefully and precisely to the damaged area. Alternatively, you can apply the paint by dabbing with the brush tip. Drying time is about 30 minutes at a temperature of 20°C. Make sure that the first coat is completely dry before applying second coat.

It's a touch-up brush (like the kind used for car bodies), nothing more.

As a touch-up brush, it's sometimes useful. But with the paint's consistency, it's completely unsuitable for spider crackers (small cracks in the gelcoat) because it doesn't penetrate them (too viscous), and it doesn't fill larger impacts either (not thick enough).

So it's a temporary fix, but it's no substitute for proper gelcoat (two-component, thick, which fills chips, for example).

Limited suitability for the intended purpose

...see also my review of "Gelcoat Repair Putty" #62464. I used the material to cover larger scratches that I had filled, which I didn't like because of the color variation. The color matched perfectly. While it's not particularly complicated to apply, the product dries very quickly. Therefore, you have to sand carefully to achieve a smooth finish. This works quite well due to its hardness, but the filler color does show through again. Overall, the result is only mediocre. I haven't (yet) tried to repair the microcracks that also exist, which turn black over time due to the omnipresent dirt. The product is comparatively expensive.
