Description
The legendary Dufour 35, designed by Michel Dufour, was built between 1971 and 1982 as a robust ocean-going cruiser. With a length of 10.74 metres, a width of 3.48 metres and a draught of 1.81 metres, the Dufour 35 offers particularly stable seakeeping and a high level of safety in rough conditions. Under sail, she reaches a hull speed of around 7.07 knots. The sail plan includes a 25 m² mainsail, 32 m² jib, 49 m² genoa and a 103 m² spinnaker, giving the yacht a balanced and powerful sail. The functional interior with two cabins, three berths, a separate wet room and a comfortable headroom of around 1.90 metres makes the ship ideal for longer trips with up to seven people. Compared to the later Dufour 35 Classic, this model scores points with its solid construction and seaworthy layout, which is consistently designed for seaworthiness.
