Description
The Dufour 455 Grand'Large from Dufour Yachts, built between 2002 and 2014, is a sporty and comfortable cruising sailing yacht that combines generous space and efficient sailing characteristics. With a length of 13.76 metres, a beam of 4.30 metres and a draught of 2.00 metres, she offers plenty of space for family or crew. The interior usually comprises 3-4 cabins with 2-3 heads, so that comfortable overnight stays are possible. Under engine power, the yacht reaches around 7 knots, with a top speed of over 8 knots. Under sail, it can reach around 7 knots in moderate winds and 8.2-8.5 knots on rough courses in good winds. She is particularly appreciated as a performance cruiser for her well-balanced handling, solid construction, clear cockpit, practical deck layout and comfortable interior. Compared to smaller models in the Grand'Large series, the Dufour 455 Grand'Large offers sportier sailing behaviour, more space and greater stability on longer trips.
