an amazing boat... We have a Q-29, the successor to the Spirit 29. It's a good sailing boat, easy to handle, fast to sail, and a good compromise between sportiness and cruising capability. Visitors to our boat are always surprised by how much space it has and how spacious the interior is. Of course, you can't compare it to the modern houseboats of current production boats, but for its time, it was something special. The mast with its two spreaders could be taller for an inland waterway boat, but it's perfectly adequate for the sea. The locker lids could be better positioned to make the storage space underneath more accessible. The antenna cables and masthead lighting are glued into the inner hull – there's no way to replace them. And those are the only points we'd like to mention.
