Description

The Hallberg-Rassy 43 MK II is a 13.57 metre long cruising yacht with a centre cockpit and internal passageway to the aft cabin. It is based on the hull of the Hallberg-Rassy 43, but has been given revised windows in the superstructure, a modernised deck design and a lighter interior. The hull utilises a fin keel. The Hallberg-Rassy 43 MK II is steered via a large central steering wheel. The galley is located in the aft passageway and offers work space at sea. Typical features are the high freeboard for more interior volume and the clear separation between the foredeck, saloon and owner's area in the stern. Compared to the Hallberg-Rassy 43, the Hallberg-Rassy 43 MK II has a more modern look thanks to the larger superstructure windows and detail adjustments, but the basic concept has been retained. The Hallberg-Rassy 43 MK II is suitable for longer voyages with a permanent crew, where comfort below deck and sheltered steering in the centre cockpit are required.
