The ideal single-hand cruising boat I've sailed the boat almost 10,000 nautical miles in the North and Baltic Seas, mostly single-handed, and even in Force 9 winds and Baltic waves, I always felt safe. The sailing performance is quite adequate for a boat of this generation, and as a cruising sailor, winning every regatta isn't the priority. However, the living comfort is impressive, with a separate shower and master cabin. For me, a Hallberg or Najad, which are in the same class, wouldn't be an alternative, and not just because of the price.
