Description
The Dufour 1800 from Dufour Yachts s.a. is a sailing boat built from 1976 to 1989. The Dufour 1800 has a length of 7.65 m and a width of 2.71 m, with a maximum draught of 1.30 m for the fixed keel or 0.70 m to 1.70 m for the centreboards, which makes it particularly attractive for shallow areas such as the Wadden Sea or Lake Constance. She offers space for up to five people and has an open layout with foredeck and convertible saloon sofas, which allows flexible use and sleeping options. The upwind sail area is approx. 31.5 m², divided into a mainsail of 11.5 m² and a genoa of 20 m². The Dufour 1800 is usually powered by a small inboard or outboard engine. Compared to the Dufour 27, it has compact dimensions and a lower displacement.
