Description
The Hallberg-Rassy 340 is a sailing yacht from the Swedish shipyard Hallberg-Rassy with a length of 10.32 metres. The model is designed as a modern cruising yacht with an aft cockpit and utilises a wide stern with a double rudder system. The Hallberg-Rassy 340 is generally steered using two steering wheels, leaving the passage aft free. The rig is designed as a top rig and is often combined with a self-tacking jib. There is an integrated bowsprit at the bow, which serves as a mount for downwind sails and as an anchor holder. Below deck, the Hallberg-Rassy 340 has a saloon, a galley on the companionway, a wet room and a self-contained aft cabin. Large hull windows bring daylight into the interior. Compared to the Hallberg-Rassy 34, the Hallberg-Rassy 340 has a more modern design, especially with its twin rudders, twin steering and rig concept. The Hallberg-Rassy 340 is designed for clear processes and a modern deck layout.
