VC OFFSHORE EU is a particularly effective antifouling with a higher proportion of active ingredients for the demanding water sports enthusiast. Leading yachts of the WHITBREAD ROUND THE WORLD REGATTA 97/98 sailed with VC OFFSHORE EU. This exceptional paint has a smooth finish which minimizes drag and doens't need any sanding. It is particularly suitable for use in difficult waters with high fouling intensity, seawater areas and also on fast motorboats. Yield: approx. 12 m²/litre.
Application instructions
- Processing temperature: +5° C to +35° C
- Drying time at 15 °C: 30 minutes (dust dry)
- Overcoating time at 15 °C: min. 1.5 hours
Can be applied to most antifoulings provided they are in good condition. Not to be used in combination with PTFE-containing antifoulings.
GRP/Bare gelcoat: Make sure the surface is clean, dry and dust-free, and in a generally good condition. Use VC General Thinner for degreasing. Lightly sand with 240 grade paper. Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Use VC TAR2 to prime and protect against osmosis. Repeat the double coating every 12 months.
Steel/lead: Make sure the surface is clean, dry, dust-free and in a generally good condition. Use VC General Thinner for degreasing. Prime with VC TAR2 to protect against corrosion. Then apply two coats of VC OFFSHORE EU to the surface. Repeat the double coating every 12 months.
Wood: Make sure that the surface is clean, dry as well and dust-free and in generally good condition. Use VC General Thinner for degreasing. Prime with Primocon. Then apply two coats of VC OFFSHORE EU to the surface. Repeat the double coating every 12 months.
Not suitable for use on aluminium or galvanised surfaces.

on SVB site it says VC OFFSHORE EU can be painted on existing Seatec GTI 30 coating, which is PTFE based. however it specifically states that "Not to be used in combination with PTFE-containing antifoulings." in VC OFFSHORE EU description. Can I use this paint on top of existing Seatec GTI 30 or not then?
