Ready to use pre-spliced halyard rope with snap-shackle. Available in different colours and lengths.
Features:
- Very long life, no creep
- Dense, strong rope e.g. for halyards and reefing lines
- Ideally suited for lever clamps
- Minimum elongation thanks to parallel core
Recommended areas of use:
Cleaning ropes
Please note the following when cleaning/washing polyester and Dyneema ropes:
- Hand wash (SVB recommendation):
- Place the rope in a large bucket or bathtub and fill with warm water.
- Clean the rope thoroughly with your hands.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Then wash the rope with clean water.
- Washing machine:
- Only wash rope in a cotton bag.
- Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Do not tumble dry the rope.
- After washing, allow the ropes to drip dry (protected from UV radiation).

From what I have read about the Pre-Spliced Halyard Rope with Snap-Shackle is the finished length may be shorter than the the ordered length do to creating the eye. Is this true?, as I would like to take this into account as there is a choice of 30 or 34 meters. #560241#
