Product details
Innovative "double sheet" for headsails! With this system, heavy stainless steel thimbles are replaced by a lightweight, compact rope shackle made from RACE XP. This minimises snagging of the sheet on the shrouds or other rigging parts. The sheets for starboard and port are marked by coluor-coded GEMINI-X-SPORT ropes. We fabricate this rope connection with an integrated rope handle from RACE XP. This system is available with different rope thicknesses and lengths. Note: The length refers to the total length of the sheet system. Two lengths, each half the total length, will be supplied.

Cleaning ropes
Please note the following when cleaning/washing polyester and Dyneema ropes:
- Hand wash (SVB recommendation):
- Place the rope in a large bucket or bathtub and fill with warm water.
- Clean the rope thoroughly with your hands.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Then wash the rope with clean water.
- Washing machine:
- Only wash rope in a cotton bag.
- Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Do not tumble dry the rope.
- After washing, allow the ropes to drip dry (protected from UV radiation).

Product: #24083# Sheet System I'm wondering about the slipperiness of this product, even with the winch fully loaded it requires it requires a lot of tension on the tail of the sheet to it to grip on the winch drum. Winch size is a Lewmar 43. Is there a detergent to treat this problem, or wash this out of the rope. Paul J
