The hose is ok, very supple, but the outside diameter is not 50mm but only 46mm !!! Therefore order the correct hose clamp!

Highly recommended.

After 5 years (approx. 20 real months of sailing with 2 people) the hoses show no smell or buildup. Tip: Lay hoses in plastic downpipes with a constant gradient, because “hill-and-valley” laying results in deposits in the valleys. (It is not the hose that is to blame, but rather the chemical-physical properties of the contents.)
