Product details
Super mini plain bearing block with ring for rope Ø: 10 mm. Sheave dimension: 20 x 10 mm.
Herm. Sprenger plain bearing blocks with stainless steel sides and UV-resistant high quality plastic sheaves.
Suitable for various uses. The blocks impress with their excellent quality and a well-balanced price-performance ratio. They have won several tests in various sailing and yacht magazines.
Cleaning and Maintenance of Blocks:
- Rinse blocks regularly and thoroughly with warm fresh water to remove salt and dirt (carefully assist with a soft brush if necessary).
- For heavier soiling: Soak the block in warm fresh water with a little dish soap and move the rollers (do not use harsh cleaners).
- Avoid pressure washers, as water and dirt can be forced into the bearing.
- Allow to dry thoroughly afterwards to prevent corrosion.
- Lubricate only when necessary and according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Note: Many modern bearings are maintenance-free or self-lubricating – improper lubrication can impair their function.
- Disassemble only if explicitly instructed by the manufacturer, as not all blocks are designed for maintenance or disassembly.
