Fortunately, I have not had any experience with it, fortunately, as I have only recently purchased it, so I have not yet assembled it. Product details

This rescue - and safety ladder increases safety on board! Supplied in a bag with 5 steps, a handle and two flaps for attachment to the railing. The handle serves as a handhold for the person overboard. Pulling it opens the bag and deploys the emergency ladder, allowing the person to climb back on board easily using the five steps. A small weight is attached beneath the bottom rung to weigh down the ladder, so that it slides easily out of the bag when the handle is pulled.
