Product details

The high-quality 1x19 stainless steel wire has been specially developed for use in standing rigging and offers outstanding dimensional stability, high tensile strength and extremely low elongation. The construction comprising 19 individual wires ensures a compact, smooth surface and enables consistently reliable tension in shrouds, stays and other guy wires.
Manufactured from corrosion-resistant AISI 316 (V4A) stainless steel, the wire is ideally suited for long-term use in marine environments as well as for applications subject to high loads. Thanks to its high stiffness, the wire is particularly suitable for standing rigging, railings, balustrade infills or fixed bracing.

An alternative use
Excellent cable for attaching the tailpiece to the endpin of a double bass. Very flexible and with imperceptible stretch. The sound is noticeably better than that obtained with stiffer steel cables or more flexible but more stretchy Dyneema cables. I'm happy!
