The 7x7 wire rope consists of 7 strands, each comprising 7 individual wires, and offers a balanced combination of flexibility and stability. It is more flexible than a 1x19 wire rope, yet more dimensionally stable than a 7x19 wire rope – making it ideal for a wide range of applications. Thanks to its construction, the 7x7 wire rope is ideal for general wire rope applications, guy ropes, safety ropes, fastenings, and the boating and leisure sectors (railing wire). It is easy to work with, has a high tensile strength and impresses with its reliable, long-lasting quality. Material: Stainless steel. Prices per metre.

An alternative use
Excellent cable for attaching the tailpiece to the endpin of a double bass. Very flexible and with imperceptible stretch. The sound is noticeably better than that obtained with stiffer steel cables or more flexible but more stretchy Dyneema cables. I'm happy!
