Product details

The WINDEX 10 wind indicator is precisely balanced, low-friction mounted and instantly recognisable as an accurate, quick-readable wind direction device. It is perfectly suited for yachts starting from 12 metres in length. The sapphire-mounted needle and the large, precise wind vane reliably and accurately capture the wind direction - both in light breezes and strong winds. The angle of the wind display can be set in advance depending on the conditions of the ship. Thanks to the reflector on the vane and the plates, the wind direction can be read both day and night. The wind vanes withstand wind speeds of up to 40 m/s.

I have a Hunter 27 footer sail boat, which windex model should i buy? Wind speed in this area is rather weak 5 to 15 Knots averaging.

Hi! Could this wind indicator be mounted on the side of the wayfarer mast? i know some come with a j base wich could be mounted on front, top or side, but no sure if this have that base.. Thank you so much

It has only these bolts and mounting, that you can see in both product photos. Nothing additional. If you want to mount it on the side of the must, you need some additional mounting plate.
