The system was very easy to assemble and also easy to adapt to the given masses. Now it is much more comfortable. The ventilation of the upholstery is also improved. I would buy the product again at any time.

I inserted the "FROLI Travel Bed System" into the aft cabin of my boat under the existing mattress and slept on it for a few nights. My experience is positive so far. I would say that you sleep well on it.

Can be well divided in length and width and adapted to the conditions. After two nights I have to say that this system is much better than a slatted frame. The slatted frame always gives way in the middle the furthest, so that one involuntarily slips there. That does not exist with this system. The armor is also excellent.

Product details

Froli Travel is a comfortable bed system which provides individual point-by-point support and an excellent air circulation for a healthy sleeping climate and high comfort. System saves weight and space because of its construction height of only 33 mm. The support elements provide optimum suspension of up to 25 mm. The space can be optimally used, because spring elements can be easily adapted to corners and bevels by twisting. The degree of firmness can be increased in isolated areas, for lordosis support for example, through the subsequent addition of tension units. Base set of elements for the standard sizes of beds for boats are available in a handy box. The extension set No.2 includes small spring elements, perfect for bevels, edges and angles. To achieve maximum comfort they may be used for the complete surface. Use standard foam mattresses with medium grade.

Travel froli system in the forward cabin of a 31-foot sailboat

In the forward cabin, the berth is triangular in 2 parts to have access to the lockers below. Each element of the mattress is slightly bevelled on the shell side. Having raised the mattress by around 3 cm with the Travel froli system means that it no longer bears against the wall. As soon as you move a little in the bunk, the two elements separate in the middle, creating an uncomfortable groove. This winter, I would ask my usual sailboat to sew a zipper between the two elements to make them united on demand while being able to separate them if necessary. I hope that with this modification I will achieve better comfort without having to replace the mattress which may not be a medium.
