INTERNATIONAL CRUISER 250 - Effective protection against fouling in the water
CRUISER 250 from International is a high-performance, self-polishing antifouling for sail and motor boats - developed for year-round protection in salt and fresh water. It reliably protects against slime, algae and animal growth.Product features at a glance

Processing instructions
Technical data:
- Processing temperature: +5° C to +35° C
- Drying time at 15 °C: 45 minutes (dust dry)
- Overcoating time at 15 °C: min. 10 hours
International CRUISER 250 antifouling can be applied to most antifoulings if they are in good condition. Do not use in conjunction with VC17m or PTFE-containing antifoulings.
Application instructions according to substrate:
Already coated surfaces
In good condition:
- Completely clean the surface of growth, dirt and loose layers
- Wet sand with 80 - 120 grit sandpaper
- If unsure about the old coating: seal with a suitable barrier coat recommended
In poor condition:

Remove completely with Interstrip

New primer and subsequent build-up with CRUISER 250 required
GRP / Bare gelcoat
- Clean thoroughly, degrease (e.g. with thinner no. 3)
- Apply osmosis protection (e.g. Gelshield 200 or Primocon)
- Apply two coats of International CRUISER 250 antifouling
- Recommended repetition: every 12 months
Wood surfaces
- Clean, dry and degrease the surface
- Prime and Interprotect or Primocon
- Then apply two coats of CRUISER 250
- Recommended repetition: every 12 months
Steel/lead
- Thoroughly clean, degrease and dry
- Prime with Interprotect and Primocon
- Then apply two coats of CRUISER 250
- Recommended repetition: every 12 months
Note:
Do not use on aluminium or galvanised metals! This can lead to reactions or material damage.Documents
