Eindeutig eins der besten Produkte, die wir an Bord haben. Die MK V dient bei uns zweimal als Bilgenpumpe und einmal als Toilettenpumpe (Lavac). Nach neun Jahren täglicher Benutzung (2 Pers.) mußte ich dann bei der Toilettenpumpe die Membran auswechseln. Das waren also vorsichtig geschätzt knapp 400.000 Hübe mit einer Membran - und das bei d e m Medium! Dazu kamen vielleicht noch zwei oder drei Auslaßventile (die es leider nicht einzeln gibt) und ein Einlaßventil. Eine Produktqualität, die neben dem, was wir sonst überwiegend so für Erfahrungen machen, geradezu unglaublich scheint. Die Bemerkung, daß an den beiden Bilgenpumpen in dieser Zeit garnichts war, kann ich mir da fast sparen.

Seit 10 Jahren verwende ich die MKV für meine Bordtoilette. Außer das jährliche entkalken, hatte ich noch nie Probleme. Schön wäre es, wenn es die beiden Ventile einzeln zu kaufen gäbe. Der ganze Reparaturset ist nicht nötig und zu teuer.

Unfortunately, when I placed my order, I didn't find any information on your website about the fact that the Whale Mk5 is produced in two versions. You delivered the BP0527 "Bulkhead" version, which unfortunately doesn't match our Whale Mk5, which I need to replace. I found the correct type shown on the packaging. It is the BP0535 "Thru Deck" version.

My questions:
- Is the Whale BP0535 "Thru Deck" available and in stock? If so, I would like to have it. Depending on how quickly it can be delivered, to my home address or to the ship's berth on the Baltic Sea where I am currently located.
- I would like to return the Whale BP0527 "Bulkhead" that I don't need, but I don't have your delivery documents and the outer packaging material in stock at the ship's berth. Would it be okay if I wait about 10 days for the return shipment from our home address?

We use this pump as a waste pump for our on-board toilets. Every two to three years, these need to be cleaned of a thick layer of urine scale and salt. This procedure requires a sharp screwdriver and plenty of vinegar! Alternatively, you can buy a new pump.
