Processing Instructions: SEATEC epoxy resin is mixed in a ratio of 100:60 (by weight) or 100:70 (by volume). At the ideal processing temperature (20°C), the product has a pot life of approximately 30 minutes and reaches its final strength after three to five days. At temperatures below 10°C, both the pot life and curing time are extended, while the working time will shorten with larger mixtures due to exothermic heat. A curing treatment at 50°C for 24 hours increases strength and chemical resistance.
Mix the components accordingly and apply to the prepared substrate with a brush or roller. Sandblasted metals can be coated directly, while porous materials like wood or concrete should have a suitable primer applied.
Apply two coats to achieve a thickness of 300 - 400 µm. Second coat should be applied within 24 hours of the first. The epoxy resin is not free from yellowing under UV exposure. Therefore, a UV-resistant two-component paint should be applied as the final layer.

Hello I`m going to use for the first time Seatec epoxy Harz 900g for laminating. I just notice the hardener is 275g so if the mix is 2:1 something is wrong. please info. Thank you
You use the clear plastic mug supplied to do your 2:1 mix. I only used a small amount of the epoxy approx 400g. Guess if you are using all 900g of the epoxy you will need more hardner. Hope this helps answer your question
Thank you for answer but if the hardener and resin does not match why seatec sell it that way,? Do not make sense. Regards
Hello, You have bought 600g resin and 300g hardner (total 900g). But you mix them by volyme (not weight). The resin and hardener specific gravity are not the same. I hope that this help?
Thank you for answer, i was informed that by weght the mix is 100:44, so it is ok by volume 2:1 (625g resin and 275g hardener). Regards
Can I mix copper powder in with this to create an copper based anti-foul layer for the hull?
Dear customer, we cannot advise on this unfortuantely.
