This handy repair kit is ideal for emergency touch ups and minor repairs on board. The set consists of the professional 2-component epoxy system 105 Resin and 205 Fast Hardener, plus fillers and matching tools.
The epoxy system has high strength and outstanding versatility, making it suitable for a wide range of work and repairs on your boat. The system is also highly suitable for domestic use and other DIY projects. It can be used on a variety of surfaces such as wood, GRP or metals. Hardener 205 is used when you need to have the resin cure particularly quickly. WEST SYSTEM Fast Hardener 205 is ideal for use in cold weather, as it ensures good curing even at temperatures as low as +5 °C. It can be mixed with the 105 Epoxy resin in the ratio of 5 parts resin to 1 part hardener, the cured mixture yields a rigid, high-strength, moisture-resistant solid body with excellent bonding and barrier coating properties. Pot life: 9 - 12 minutes at 22°C. Cures to a solid mass in five to seven hours at 22°C. Fully hardens after several days.
Fillers
The fillers included in the delivery contents enable you to carry out many minor repair jobs on board. Microfibres 403 is particularly suitable for laminating and 407 Low Density is especially suitable as a filler.

NOTE
Please note that the mixing ratio refers to the resin and the hardener. When adding the fillers, ensure that there is sufficient viscosity to prevent drooping at the desired point. The mass can be thickened to a large degree.
