After the wired predecessor stopped working due to a short circuit (caused by a leaky deck connector), the new anemometer does exactly what it was built for. The B&G WS320 wireless wind transmitter is ideally suited for regatta sailing or recreational boating as it boasts the following features:

The Bluetooth receiver included offers two mounting options: It can either be firmly screwed in place or mounted on optionally available antenna holders with a 1" thread in combination with the supplied bracket.

Note
Should you experience problems connecting / pairing the WS320 and Bluetooth receiver. Please proceed as follows:

Place the WS320 wind sensor and the Bluetooth module next to each other (max. 0.5m distance)

Disconnect the WS320 from its battery
Disconnect the NMEA2000 network from the power supply
Reconnect to the NMEA2000 network within 30 seconds
Reconnect the battery to the WS320 within 30 seconds
It can take up to 5 minutes before connection is successful

Works perfectly

Initially, I had some Bluetooth connectivity issues. I was able to resolve these following the SVB instructions. Since then, the anemometer has been working flawlessly and displays the data on my Vulcan7. Setting it up after the aforementioned issues was very easy. The range is good, which allowed me to mount the receiver below deck.
