Satisfying
Satisfactory and affordable, this product isn't fully protected at the connections. You'll need to cover them with a good quality silicone sealant specifically designed for electrical connections to protect them.

However, I recommended this circuit breaker because of its attractive price.

Good first impression, but no function
The switch appears to be well-made and well-assembled. Whether an M6 bolt is suitable for a 250A circuit breaker is debatable. Unfortunately, the 250A breaker trips after only a short time at around 125A. Therefore, it is not functioning correctly.

Cheap price, poor quality
I bought several of these to replace all my ANL fuses, and Ive just had too many issues to give more than 2 stars. It seems that the manufacturing and operating tolerances are all over the place! One 80A breaker was faulty already at delivery and wouldnt trip when tested. That was replaced quickly and free of charge so no big issue. Now I have two other 80A circuit breakers tripping all the time at constant 50A (dcdc charger) and 60A (shore power) even at normal room temperatures. Basically, cant recharge my house batteries until I get these replaced

Triggers too early, unfortunately not usable for me.
I bought four 60A fuses, but they're not really usable. I wanted to use them on the Orion XS 50 to replace the existing 60A fuse. The thermal cutouts trip far too early...even at 40A!

Hands off
When tightening the cable lug on the thread, the thread completely ripped out of the anchor. Mind you, without the nut being tightened. Complaint? Well, that's always the case with SVB.

Which make is it? Lets say, I protect switch panel, 8 swicth each 4am at 24v. What is the right am rate? Is it the same as if i use it each 4am but 12v?

Hello Shachar, If you have 8 switches and each circuit draws 4 A, the total current is 32 A. With the required margin a fuse of 40A would be typical. The size of the fuse depends of the installation and cable cross section. For safety reasons, the fuse rating must always match the smallest conductor cross-section in the circuit.
