Product details
The quick-drying 2-component undercoat B-FREE TIECOAT serves as a powerful adhesion promoter for use with Explore protection systems or Conversion Coat primer. The silicone-based primer is completely biocide-free and can be easily applied with a roller or brush. A single layer of B-Free Tiecoat is sufficient to ensure adhesion of the biocide-free fouling protection.
Processing instructions
Technical data:
Suitable for hulls made of aluminium, GRP, lead, cast iron, wood and steel.
Application:
The surface must be cleaned of growth and contamination. Then wet sand the hull with 80-120 grit. Then add the curing agent to the base and mix. Allow the primer to sit for 5 minutes and apply a coat of the B-FREE TIECOAT over B-FREE CONVERSION COAT or other INTERNATIONAL primers.

- Drying time at 10 °C: 2 hours
- Pot life at 10°C: 3 hours
