Decent quality and good value for money I use the mooring line as an additional safety measure, attaching it to the bow eye of my motorboat with a carabiner. The mooring line has been in use for a year now and still looks brand new. The material feels good in the hand and gives a high-quality impression. I am satisfied with the product.

Highly elastic specialty fabric! This mooring line has been specially developed for choppy, poorly protected harbours with strong swell, heavy tides or busy commercial shipping passing close by. Handy Elastic can be used as a mooring line without jerk dampers.

Highly elastic special fibre in double braid construction
Absolutely non-kinking and with a good grip
Made from high-strength polyamide
Ideal as mooring, anchor or spring line
Tear and abrasion resistant
Easy to splice, even for non experts

Number of mooring lines:

Ideally, a boat is secured with four mooring lines.
The stern line is attached to the stern of the boat to maintain a constant distance between the boat and the mooring. The bow line serves exactly the same purpose. The two springs prevent the boat from drifting forwards and backwards. The springs are particularly important in waters with high and low tides or in waters with strong currents.

Cleaning ropes
Please note the following when cleaning/washing polyamide and polypropylene ropes:

Do not machine wash.
Do not tumble dry the rope.
Only wash ropes in a bathtub (only with lukewarm water) and then allow the ropes to drip dry (protected from UV radiation).
Do not use regular detergent (you can find a possible alternative here).
