Monel is frequently used in the marine and chemical industries. There you will find applications in valves and pumps; pump and propeller shafts; marine fasteners; chemical processing equipment; petrol and fresh water tanks; process vessels and pipework; boiler feed water heaters and other heat exchangers.

The advantage of Monel is that even in flowing seawater the corrosion rate is very low. In stagnant seawater, however, this rate increases.

Sorting error, again

There were steel rivets in one compartment. Are the others Monel? Customer service said, despite photos, that it couldn't be possible that there were other rivets in there because we only have one type of rivet. Sounds like the customer is making things up and manipulating photos. Why not ask the warehouse if they might have received the wrong product before serving it to the customer? Unfortunately, the product is always incorrectly sorted or almost expired (first aid kit). Trust is no longer there.
