With waterproof and breathable 2-layer XPLORE® technology, the OS3 system is not only the ideal outer layer for year-round sailing, but also offers first-class protection on rainy days ashore. The system includes the added benefit of Gill's plant-based SHIELD® fabric technology, giving the OS3 incredible levels of water repellency and stain resistance. The jacket features a high cut thermal collar, fully lined hi-vis hood and 2-way adjustment system, plus secure inside pocket. The OS3 Coastal Jacket is a great choice for sailors, keeping you warm and dry when you need it most.

Inferior quality
The jacket looks quite good and is cut more like a "street style" jacket. If you wear many layers underneath or are used to a generously cut oilskins, you should probably choose a size larger. My jacket was made in Vietnam.

Unfortunately, after two seasons, the zipper broke and the hem is already showing significant wear. My second disappointment with a Gill product.
