Comfortable to wear, fully featured, and reasonably priced - the black color may be pretty, but it's idiotic. (Hot, hard to see, etc.) The crotch straps are only equipped with plastic buckles, which experience has shown only to hold about 45 kg. This is a shortcoming and a safety disadvantage that the manufacturer could fix with little financial outlay! I'm retrofitting metal buckles that actually hold. If you have to be hoisted on board or even just pulled, the plastic buckles quickly wear out. Otherwise, the vest makes a good impression. We haven't really tested it seriously (in the water) yet. We'll probably do that when it's due for maintenance anyway. Delivery, as always, was quick and problem-free.

Lifejacket EVO 290, lifeline eyelets fiddly, "target openings" suboptimal
Very good except for two things:
- the Lifeline eyelets are a bit fiddly to hook into.
- the company boasts experience and quality. Unfortunately, the zipper was threaded incorrectly (the 'plug' wasn't fully inserted into the 'shoe,' so the entire zipper opened when I tried it on... okay - I was able to test the zipper closure right away. The two opening points are so sensitive that you have to work very carefully to prevent the zipper from opening completely again. If you quickly 'throw' the vest onto the bed and it lands awkwardly, the zipper will also open. The Velcro fastener that covers the opening points is rather weak protection.

Conclusion:

In use (contrary to expectations), everything was fine and very functional - I'm satisfied - but the two above-mentioned things could be solved better, I think. (Comparison had a previous Secumar)

D-ring loops take some getting used to
The D-ring loops are a bit fiddly to handle with a lifeline. Metal rings would be easier to handle.

life jacket EVO 290
Overall good features, what lets the product down is the missing ring for the lifeline. The lifeline is very fiddly to insert into the loops. Unfortunately there is no window to check the release mechanism. Like some other manufacturers, a zipper is used for the vest instead of a Velcro fastener, which means that the cover of the vest keeps opening and can only be closed again if you open the zipper completely and close it again. Unfortunately, this is also the case with my Secumar, but it doesn't happen that often.
