Good radar reflector

I've been installing this type of standard radar reflector in my sailboat for over 18 years. I tested it once by asking a bulk carrier if they saw me in their radar about 10 nm away. They did. That's good enough for me. I carry two, one on each upper shroud.

If we hadn't needed the reflector, we wouldn't have bought one. But it's barely noticeable on the flagpole, so it's all good. It's just a plastic tube with an aluminum mesh inside. The quality is fine.
