Electric horn SK1 stops sounding after a few uses

The SK1 electric horn stopped sounding after a few uses. When I now press the horn button, the radio cuts out for the duration of the press. I then measured the resistance of the SK1 radio, and it was 0.6 ohms; theoretically, the 12V5A should be 2.4 ohms.
