Not suitable for warm environments!

After applying three coats of antifouling paint (at the boatyard in Spain, with daytime temperatures up to 29°C), I removed my masking tape. Unfortunately, often only the paper comes off; the adhesive remains on the boat!

Now I have the choice of 1) leaving a mudguard strip above my fresh antifouling paint, or 2) trying to remove it with thinner, which will of course remove some of the antifouling paint and smear it onto the boat.

A very disappointing product; I expect better from the brand-name manufacturer 3M! My neighbor at the boatyard said that the light-colored masking tape should be removed after two days at the latest, or that the blue masking tape should be used.
