Quite expensive for just a piece of wood but does it's job!

It is a good product but only works if in pushpit with 90º angle, mine has a slight inclination and I had to cut a bit on the inside hole.

Solid Teak AB bracket
Makes a good impression. Unfortunately it is relatively small. It would be ideal if the bracket were longer and also had a mount for the lower pushpit strut. An additional cross brace has to be installed, which is not included in the scope of delivery.

For a Mercury 3.5 hp, the screws are badly placed, we have to shift it to the right or to the left to tighten it, too bad.

Very nice product, I nourished and varnished the wood, the finish is excellent, just a small detail not unimportant the support deserves a few more centimeters. On the other hand, processing of the order by SVB is very serious.
Point to do Too small Strong point Very nice product and quality wood

Don't go for a Bavaria 33
He needs a perpendicular bar which he doesn't have, too small

No suitable adapters for the smaller pipe thickness
My raw thickness on the Bavaria 46 is too thin without the plastic adapters, and too thick with them for the panels. I had to use tape to make it fit.

Not thought through
Looks nice, but the protruding screws make it difficult to mount the outboard properly.

Bad processing
Unfortunately unexpectedly disappointing. I must have ordered over 400 products from SVB and I have to admit that I would not buy this mount again. The teak already had some cracks when it arrived and the M threads of the screws supplied were different.

Material not stable enough, the wood is quickly torn

After assembling the two boards, the nuts and a rest of the screw protrude beyond the board. If the outer flange is then pulled over the teak support, it is found that the wing screws for fastening the outer flange on the teak board exactly hit the protruding nuts. The outboard can not be screwed. In addition, protruding screws represent a considerable risk of injury. Suggestion: Shorter screws and countersunk nuts.

Too small, too weak
The original bracket remained at a shipyard in the Netherlands, where a sturdy, custom-made bracket was then fitted for the outboard motor. This bracket is only suitable for very small outboard motors.

Fragile and poorly made
Mine was made with the grain horizontal and obviously didn't hold the weight of the engine. Poor workmanship.

Wood travels after two days
In our case, the wood cracked after we had attached the dinghy motor to it twice.

I only noticed it 6 weeks later, as we weren't at the boat in the meantime.

Disaster and very arrogant service
SVB should stand by mistakes and not simply resell them !!

Very bad quality
Very poor quality product, I bought one and it broke as soon as the screws were tightened, and in the photo you can see the change in color of the wooden beta.
They should take care of the quality of the products they sell.

Warning - Incorrectly constructed and incomplete
This mount is useless. Unlike the photos, the grain is horizontal and not vertical. The wood breaks immediately when you screw it to the top of the railing. In addition, the vertical connection to the lower cross brace of the railing, which can also be seen in the photos, is missing.

Hands off, the mount is useless and the photos give the wrong impression!

2 expensive, not cold water resistant glued pieces of wood
The two parts (rear and front part) are not made in one piece, but glued in two pieces each. The glue has lasted just three years on both parts. For such an expensive item (40 euros for 2 small teak pieces and 4 screws / nuts) this is a little bit long ...
