A few years ago, on our Bavaria sailing yacht, I had to replace the brass spouts on the toilet hoses because they corroded away. I switched to Truedesingn because there is no corrosion here. Only the sealing of the thread should follow with Loctite SI 5331. I couldn't get the connections tight with Teflon tape.
