€36 isn't much for an LED ceiling light (and it's the cheapest of its kind at SVB), but it's still money. For that price, I would have expected more:
- The four LEDs aren't centered in their designated recesses (which will hardly affect practical use, but it doesn't speak to careful workmanship).
- The very short connection cable (approx. 0.5 m) is untinned and therefore unsuitable for outdoor installation. Where is a ceiling light usually installed anyway...? Skimping on that is embarrassing; I would gladly have spent the extra €2 for a proper cable.
After one year the anodized layer is chipping off and the screws are not made of stainless steel
These lights are the worst!!! After just one year, the white anodized aluminum coating is flaking off. The screws aren't stainless steel and are happily rusting away. After a year, they're completely rusted solid and can no longer be removed to install anything decent. The only solution is to drill them out and get frustrated!
