Cleat good, but fastening is junk

The eyelet is good, prevents the line from looking when it is detached from the cleat. The attachment is scrap, however. I have 3mm shrouds. On the first attempt, I pressed the rear clamp with the screw so that it bent and slipped out of the cleat - just barely able to prevent it from going overboard. When not tightened, there is a great risk of losing the clamp and the loose plate on Poseidon. I then wrapped tape around the want, so it worked better. How you can develop such a lousy fastening solution is a mystery to me. This product should not be in the SVB range, it casts a bad light on the seller.

When tightening, the foot bends apart and the counter plate slips out of the groove! That in itself is not very suitable, since the connection does not grip but slips. 2. If you try to improve the strength by tightening the screw, you may damage the shroud and finally the rear clamp gives way and the cleat comes off the shroud.

Flag halyard cleat does not mount securely

The design is clever - but fails as the metal clip as soon as screw starts to tension to hold - the clip pulls out of the plastic base ...
I tried both clips and same result regardless of how careful I was ... and I never even got to trial a flag halyard on it ... it literally fell away in my hand as soon as touched ..
