Mehr als 2 Windungen vertragen die Ruckdämpfer nicht, bei 3 Windungen reissen die Köpfe ab, ansonsten sehr gute Dämfpung und lieber eine Nummer größer kaufen da Festmacher-Durchmesser zu groß angegeben.

Very good for 18 moorings but much too tight for 20mm

I took this model because it is recommended for mooring lines of 18 to 20 mm! On my Excess11 it's 20mm mooring lines and it's really difficult to put the mooring line through the shock absorber! You have to choose carefully where to place it because then it's complicated to move! I'll take bigger next time!

Braiding the leash is an imposition

The shock absorber should be suitable for 12mm lines. I tried to thread a 12mm thick rope, but this only worked once on a damper. The passages in the shock absorbers are definitely too narrow! Even with a lot of Vaseline (and a huge mess) you can barely get the leash through. I therefore find the article frustrating.

I bought 4 fenders and they were very different sizes, especially the openings for the mooring. The packaging I have agreed to leave in the obligation. Then it rained a bit. The paper stuck to the cockpit on the paint and was difficult to remove. But if you are on a leash, then you are probably fulfilling your purpose.
