The sail is attached in the lower part to 4 sewn loops, corresponding thin rope is not included. The four thousandths must be fixed in the ship according to location. The sail first appeared quite small, but provides adequate ventilation when turning weak winds. The stronger the wind, the smaller one would want the sail.

The idea is good, but overall it's a rather flimsy affair. Proper attachment is not easy with such a universal product.

The manufacture of the article is of good quality, on the other hand the design of the installation is not universal and requires adaptations which will have to hold in the event of (small) gusts.
Once in place, the windsock provides real additional comfort at anchor.

In terms of the quality of the seams; - on this type of fabric it is necessary to make a hem before assembling, otherwise the fabric frays - some seams have deformed (gathered) the fabric (problem setting sewing machine) And this windsock has a single point fastening side deck hat !!! Plastimo probably thinks that the windsock will be held around the rectangular hood, on three of the sides by the operation of the holy spirit !!!! I will have to take the seams again and put additional fastening points.

I bought this product thinking that it had a good finish and probably a special system for attaching it to the deck panel.
In reality, there are only eyelets at the bottom of the windsock. The manufacturer doesn't even bother to provide a line to attach it.
Paying €50 for 3 seams of 1m, I find that it is largely exaggerated.
I regret having bought this product.
