Spanner was seized after only 6 months of use in fresh water. Cheap part, but you should definitely lubricate the thread with grease fat.

Unfortunately, I can only advise against this article. I had bought the rigging screw for a flying solent day, which should be tensioned with it. The first time it was tightened, which was done with a screwdriver without much force, one of the two threads seized so tight that it could not be loosened later in the vice. On closer inspection, I also noticed a not inconsiderable amount of play in the still intact thread. Thankfully, SVB immediately reimbursed the purchase price. Nevertheless, I can only advise against buying this adapter sleeve and would recommend buying a higher quality, if possibly more expensive clamping screw from a brand manufacturer.
