The forward cabin of the Bavaria 32 Cruiser is trapezoidal; and to access the storage hatches, I ordered two 70x200 cm slatted bed bases – inspired by another user's post – and combined them, also optimizing the cuts (the AI actually made good suggestions). It was also important to us to have mesh between the base and the mattress again; we replaced it accordingly.

Hello from Borgfeld, I'm happy to be able to sleep in my dog bunk again when my girls are on board. Since the dog bunk runs diagonally and is therefore different in width, the adjustment was unavoidable. With the jigsaw I was able to lengthen the slats just fine. Consider equipping the forecastle berth with it as well. What is really great is that the slatted frame can be rolled up and the storage compartments underneath are easy to access. Slats are well stable made of beech wood.
