Does not stick permanently

Unfortunately, the adhesive loses its strength over time and comes loose. Alternatively, there are small screw holes in the panels, but this isn't the ideal solution for screwing in everywhere. The adhesive on my boat came loose after a year; the panels were glued to painted fiberglass below deck.
